Carlos B Negron

Carlos B. Negron, age 71, of Jersey City; formerly of San Juan, Puerto Rico; entered into eternal rest surrounded by his loving family on Friday, May 10, 2024.  Born on March 31,1953, Carlos moved to Brooklyn, New York with his parents and two younger sisters.  The eldest of 11 children, he was a quiet and simple man who found joy in spending time with family.  There, he met his wife Bertha and moved to Jersey City where he remained.  He graduated from Hudson County Vocational High School and worked as a NJ Transit bus driver until his retirement in 2019.  Carlos loved the Lord and enjoyed spending time in church and a Christian radio station.  He also enjoyed playing the guitar, but his favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren whom he adored.

Surviving Carlos is his wife of 49 years, Bertha Negron, his 3 sons Carlos Negron, Jr. (Janet), John Valladares (Deborah) and Eber Valladares (Ellis), his beloved grandchildren Alyna, Jacob, Samuel and Luke Negron, Jonathan, Naomi and Alicia Valladares, great-granddaughter Solvej Negrin, siblings Alex, Ernesto, Pablo, Maria (Mendez), Lucy and Clara Negron along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his parents Benjamin and Maria Negron, his brothers Erik and Alan and his sisters Iris and Perla.

Visitation is Tuesday, May 14th, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City.  (For GPS navigation it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street).  Funeral is Wednesday, May 15th, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.  Entombment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, 823 West Side Ave. Jersey City.  In lieu of flowers, charitable donation can be made in Carlos' memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital: www.stjude.org/
