It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of a devoted son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend. Carlos David Vidal, age 48 of Jersey City, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 17th, 2024. Carlos' hard work ethic as a Conductor for the past 23 years showed in his devotion to his position on the UTU Local 60 as the Vice Local Chairperson. He was well respected and loved on the railroad by many.
Carlos left a lasting impact on the lives of all who knew him. Carlos is survived by his loving mother, Candida; father, Carlos ; sister, Cynthia; brother, Christopher; children, Stephanie, Amarylis, Carlos Jr., Aaron, & Valentina; and grandchildren, Kaylin, Jordan, Aiden & Caleb.
Carlos enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He appreciated the quality of a fine cigar. Taking his Harley and boat out for a ride was one of his favorite ways to relax and unwind.
Carlos will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His love, guidance, and presence will be cherished forever.
Ride in Paradise, Carlos. Your memory will be a blessing to all who loved you.
Visitation is Sunday, December 22, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City. (For GPS navigation, it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street). Funeral is Monday, December 23, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 99 Broadway, Jersey City. Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, 823 West Side Ave. Jersey City.
Con profunda tristeza anunciamos el repentino fallecimiento de un devoto hijo, hermano, padre, abuelo y amigo. Carlos David Vidal, de 48 años de Jersey City, entró en el descanso eterno el martes 17 de diciembre de 2024. La ética de trabajo duro de Carlos como director durante los últimos 23 años se demostró en su devoción a su puesto en el Local 60 de UTU como Vicepresidente. Presidente local. Muchos lo respetaban y amaban en el ferrocarril.
Carlos dejó un impacto duradero en la vida de todos los que lo conocieron. A Carlos le sobreviven su amada madre, Candida; padre, Carlos padre; hermana, Cynthia; hermano, Cristóbal; niños, Stephanie, Amarylis, Carlos Jr., Aaron y Valentina; y nietos, Kaylin, Jordan, Aiden y Caleb.
Carlos disfrutaba viajar y pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos. Apreciaba la calidad de un buen cigarro. Llevar su Harley y su bote a dar un paseo era una de sus formas favoritas de relajarse y descansar.
Su familia y amigos extrañarán profundamente a Carlos. Su amor, guía y presencia serán apreciados para siempre. Cabalga en el paraíso, Carlos. Tu recuerdo será una bendición para todos los que te amaron.
El velorio es el domingo 22 de diciembre de 2024 de 3:00 p. m. a 9:00 p. m. en Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Ciudad de Jersey.
