Carmela Palladino

Carmela Palladino (Ricciardi), a life long resident of the Marion Section in Jersey City, NJ, passed away on July 27, 2020 at the age of 88. She was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt and Cousin.

Carmela was born in Jersey City, NJ to Bartholomew and Laura Ricciardi on March 12, 1932.

Carmela is preceded in death by her parents, Bartholomew and Laura Ricciardi, her Sister Catherine Reo, Brothers, Bartholomew and Gaetano Ricciardi, and her Daughter Diane Friscia (Joseph).

Carmela is survived by her Daughter, Laura Olivari (John), Grandaughters, Nicole Nardone McClay (Kevin) and Victoria Decarlo. Four Great Grandchildren, Jayson, Daniel, Madison and James. And many loving Nieces, nephews and cousins.

Carmela worked at Pronto in Jersey City for many years. She loved spending time with her family and enjoying holidays and gatherings. She was a loving and caring person who was always thinking of others first. To know her, truly was to love her.  

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, 2:00 PM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Jersey City. There will be no visitation at the funeral home prior to the funeral mass. Cremation was private.
