Carmen Milagros Rodriguez

With love and appreciation, the family of Carmen Milagros Rodriguez announces her passing on November 4, 2025. Carmen was born on July 4, 1945, in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, and was raised in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico. At nineteen years old, she moved to Jersey City, New Jersey, where she created a home filled with love, tradition, and family.

Carmen was the daughter of the late Isidro Garcia and the late Carmen Rosado. She is survived by her children, Ivette Rodriguez, Ruben Rodriguez Jr, and Joseph Ramon Rodriguez, along with her son in law, Francisco Rivera, and daughter in law, Minerva Gonzalez. She is also survived by her siblings, Ana Maria Melendez, Rosa Hilda Garcia, and Hector Garcia. Carmen is reunited in eternal rest with her brothers, Angel Luis Garcia and Isidro Garcia Jr.

Carmen was a proud high school graduate and a woman whose gifts showed through the simple and meaningful ways she cared for others. She enjoyed arts and crafts and especially loved drawing flowers. Music filled her home, and her laughter was unforgettable. She was happiest when cooking for her family and friends, creating meals that brought everyone together and made them feel loved.

She will be remembered for her warm and generous nature. Carmen was funny, honest, and full of life. She loved vibrant colors and had a unique ability to bring peace and comfort to those around her. She made people feel welcomed, valued, and understood.

Family and friends are invited to honor her life on Thursday, November 13, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home (for GPS, please use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street, Jersey City, NJ 07306.) Services will continue Friday, November 14, 2025, 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.

The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to Grace Hospice, especially nurse Ximena, and to aide Flourishnana for their compassion and care.
