Carolinda "Carol" Gaines

Carolinda "Carol" Gaines, 66, of Jersey City; entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 11, 2023.  She enjoyed listening to music, especially Jazz, Nancy Wilson, and Johnny Mathis.  She loved to write poetry, and watching her television shows.  She took pleasure hanging out with her friends at Salem Lafayette Urban Renewal.  

Carolinda is survived by her caring daughter, Kendra, and her caring son Donald; and loving nephew Jamal Daniels; and her cherished cousin, Tyra Brown. Carolinda is predeceased in life by her parents, Walter and Ethel Gaines.    

Cremation was private.  A celebration of life will take place on Friday, May 19, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City, NJ. (For GPS navigation it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street).
