Catherine De Anni

Catherine De Anni,100, passed away on August 19th, 2026. Kay, a graduate of Dickinson high school was a life long resident of Jersey City. Although a brief time as a secretary in her younger years she devoted most of her life to her family who she loved dearly. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph De Anni and loving mother of Elaine, Stephen and his wife Ann. Loving grandmother of Christopher and wife Danielle, Nicholas and wife Bernadette, Dayna and husband Tyler, and Ray; Great-grandmother to Morgan, Raymond, Michael, Molly, Erin, Casie and Samantha. Kay was sister to her brother Lawrence and the her late sister Patricia.

To have loved someone for 100 years of life is an incredible blessing. While her family will miss her dearly, they find comfort in knowing she lived a long, full, and beautiful life and leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue for generations.

As Kay wished, her remains will be scattered in the waters of Coney Island, NY, where she had many fond memories of time spent there.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2026, 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City, NJ, 07306 (For GPS it is best to use our main parking lot address: 14 Stagg St.) Funeral will begin on Monday, August 24, 2026, 10:00 am at the funeral home. Followed by a 11:00 am funeral mass at St Anne's Church, 3545 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07307. Cremation will be private.
