Charles A. Cavallo
“Charlie”
July 23, 1950 ~ February 26, 2026
Charles A. Cavallo, affectionately known as "Charlie," was born on July 23, 1950 in Jersey City, New Jersey, where he was born and raised. Charlie was the beloved son of the late, Rosalie Jane and the late, Charles Anthony Cavallo Sr. He is survived by his loving sister, Rosemarie Cavallo, and by his cousins John Cavallo, Joseph Cavallo, Annmarie Cavallo, and Elaine Procacci.
Charlie and his father shared a lifelong love of the New York Yankees. He was also an avid golfer who truly enjoyed the game and the time spent on the course. A proud Jersey City native, Charlie was a member of the first graduating class of Hudson Catholic High School and played on the school’s first football team, a memory he always held with pride.
Funeral services will be private.
The family is very grateful to everyone who has shared a warm thought and kind gesture during this difficult time. Your kindness and concern are deeply appreciated. They would also like to extend their sincere thanks to the paramedics and emergency squad for their quick response, as well as to the doctors and nurses at Jersey City Medical Center for their care and dedication. The Hospice team provided compassionate guidance and support, always taking the time to answer questions and offer comfort.
"And He will raise you up on eagle’s wings."
