Christian Bautista Rojas, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, was born on March 13, 1957, in San Cristóbal, Dominican Republic, and peacefully passed away on October 14, 2024, in Jersey City, New Jersey. His journey through life, spanning 66 years, was marked by love, strength, and unwavering dedication to his family and community.
At the tender age of 17, Christian embarked on a bold new chapter by moving to the United States. His courage and determination in pursuing a new life laid the foundation for a lifetime of cherished memories and profound impacts on those who knew him.
Christian was a man who exemplified elegance and grace. Known for always being impeccably dressed, he carried himself with a dignity that inspired admiration and respect. His sense of style was a reflection of the meticulous care he devoted to all aspects of his life.
Christian's love for the New York Yankees was unwavering. Whether cheering them on at the stadium or from his living room, his passion for the team was infectious and brought a sense of joy and camaraderie to those around him.
Christian was preceded in death by his children Stephanie Consuelo Pierce (Bautista), Christine Beatrice Breve (Bautista), and Christian Bautista Jr. Despite these profound losses, Christian's resilience and strength were a testament to his character, as he continued to cherish the memories of his loved ones and honor their legacies through his enduring love for his family.
Christian is also survived by his grandchildren, Khloe M. Breve, Troy L. Quinones, Eli C. Quinones, Madison R. Pierce, and Marley A. Pierce, who each carry forward his spirit and values.
Christian's life will be celebrated at Riotto Funeral Home on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. (For GPS navigation, it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street).
