Claire M Plodkowski

Claire M. Plodkowski, 83, of Jersey City, entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 10, 2021.  Claire went to St. Michael Roman Catholic grammar school and high school here in Jersey City.  She was a devout parishioner of St. Nicholas’ Church, Jersey City and worked as a lunch aide at P.S. 31 School for the Jersey City Board of Education.  

Claire was the beloved wife of Arthur Plodkowski; devoted mother of the late Darlene Mount; loving sister of John and his wife, Marianne Costello; dear mother-in-law of Clifford Mount (Ret. JCPD); cherished grandmother of Ashley Mount; and loving daughter of the late John and Florence Costello.  She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation is Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City. Funeral Mass is Friday, May 14, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Nicholas' Church, Jersey City.  Entombment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
