Corazon Roldan, age 81, of Union City, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025. Born in the Philippines to the late Pilar Carreon Mayor and Domenidor Mayor, she grew up with deep faith and values that guided her life’s journey.
After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Concordia College in Manila, she dedicated her life to caring for others. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she generously gave her time through voluntary mission work in the Philippines, reflecting her selfless spirit and devotion to service. She later made her home in Union City, New Jersey, where she lived most of her life. Known for her shy but loving nature, she was deeply religious, kind, and always willing to help. She found joy in shopping, traveling, trying different cuisines, and most especially in spending time with her cherished grandchildren.
She was the devoted wife of the late Geronimo Roldan and the loving mother of Emmanuel Roldan and his wife Sandy, Ronald Roldan and his wife Ruddyna, and Marlene Roldan. She was the proud grandmother of Joseph Thomas Amoruso, Mikayla Corazon Amoruso, Kayleigh Anecsi Roldan, Logan Geronimo Roldan, Aaron Odin Roldan, and Raquel Corazon Roldan. She also leaves behind her niece, Donna Mayor Gordove and her husband Gilbert, and her nephew, Renato Mayor and his wife Jean. Her family shares these words in her memory: “To our dearest Inay, we will miss you dearly but find solace knowing that you're reunited with your Mahal.”
