David Romero

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of David Romero, 51, of Paramus, NJ. After a hard-fought battle with cancer, David entered eternal rest on December 28, 2025. He was born on October 29, 1974, in Jersey City, NJ, to Magda Romero and the late Angel Ocasio.

David was a loving partner, son, father, and friend who touched the lives of many with his kindness, strength, and love. He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his passion for the 49ers, and his courage to fight to the end.

He is survived by his beloved fiancée of ten years, Danielle Martello; his children, Sheri Pagan, Christian Pingol, Dajah Romero, Dynasty Zuraski, and David “Papa” Romero; and his stepchildren, Frederick, Stephanie, and Jason Paduani-Martello. He was the adored grandfather of Nevaeh, Jay, Nicholas, and Benjamin. He is also survived by his brothers, Angel Romero and Roberto Romero, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
