Devon Martel Little was a caring husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He left this world suddenly on March 22nd, 2022 at young age of 44 in the town of Bridgewater, NJ where he resides with his wife and three children.
Devon was the first born of the late Ernestine “Judy” Little and Oliver “OJ” Stevenson, in 1977. He was a talented student athlete where he played football for Nazareth Regional and Erasmus Hall High School repping the number 32 for the street he grew up on (E.32nd Street) in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Devon always let it be known that he was a proud “Brooklynite”.
Devon had a magnetic personality. Strangers became friends in a matter of minutes and would leave every conversation shedding light, love, laughter, and wisdom. He went above and beyond for everyone he came in contact with always making himself available to lend a helping hand when needed. Devon was everyone’s big brother, confidant and friend. He was a proud husband and father who enjoyed spending any amount of time with his family whether it meant spending hours in Costco with his wife, coaching his son’s little league football team, or drawing and cooking with his daughters. If you needed a champion, coach, and daily motivator from the sideline…Devon was that guy. Devon was a diamond in the rough and there aren’t enough words to describe the pain we all feel from the absence of his presence.
Devon is preceded by his mother Ernestine Judy Little, grandfather: Lowery Little, grandmother: Shirley Little, father in law: Robert Kent Anderson, mother in law: Carol Anderson, aunt: Rosie Monroe and sister in law: Helene Anderson. Devon is survived by a loving family: his wife Kenya Little, three children: Kaylin Little, Donovan Little and Carolyn Little, his siblings Tamara Little and Michael Little and countless in-laws, extended family and friends.
