Dolores (Zappala) Manocchio

Dolores Manocchio (nee: Zappala), 76 of Jersey City, entered into eternal life on June 26, 2019 in Jersey City.  Born January 6, 1943 to the late Frank & Nancy (nee: DeMarco) Leonardis, she was a lifelong resident of Jersey City.   Dolores worked from 1977 - 2010 as a Lunch Room Manager for Jersey City PS #9.  Dolores enjoyed the simple things in life, spending time with her family, especially her beloved granddaughter Alexis.  Together they would draw and she would show her how to bake and make pizza.  

She is predeceased by her daughter, Stacy Manocchio & brother, Alfred Zappala.

Surviving to cherish her memory is her husband, Anthony Manocchio, her son, Todd & his wife, Zoe and her cherished granddaughter, Alexis.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 344 Sixth St., Jersey City, NJ. 

Cremation will be held privately.
