Dorothy Gordon

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Dorothy Gordon on July 24th, 2024. Dorothy was a remarkable woman whose life was defined by service, kindness, and a legacy of love and unforgettable memories. She was a highly accomplished businesswoman, having successfully run a mortgage company. In addition to her professional achievements, she enjoyed boating and tennis.

More recently, Dorothy found great fulfillment in her role as a private investigator for Willis Law Firm, where her dedication to her clients often turned professional relationships into familial bonds. Her greatest pride came from finding ways to "win" for those she served.

Dorothy is survived by her cherished dog, Max, father Donald Gordon; her siblings Karen, Judy, and Joseph; her nieces and nephews Melissa, Daniela, Dylan, Paul, and Dean; and her grand-niece Isabella.

Her spirit and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A visitation will be held at Riotto Funeral Home, 3205 Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, (For GPS navigation, it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street). on Friday, August 2, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will begin Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home, Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
