Edmundo "Don" Rodriguez Navarro

With full faith in the Resurrection, we announce with Christian joy and human pain the peaceful passing of Edmundo "Don" Rodriguez Navarro on Saturday, September 28, 2024, following his fierce and courageous fight against cancer.  Don was surrounded by his immediate family as he made his transition into God's loving arms.  Don was born on August 19, 1949 in Malaybalay, Bukidnon, Philippines, to the late Col. Crisanto Navarro and Virginia Rodriguez Navarro.  

He is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Veronica "Bing" Resurreccion Navarro; and his six loving children and their spouses: Ramon Crisanto "Dondi" and Maria; Ma. Paz "Binky" and Pablo; Ma. Monica "Nikki" and Kieran; Miguel Juan and Marita; Ma. Patricia "Trixie" and Hafid; and Gabriel Lorenzo "Gabby"; his eight treasured grandchildren: Ton, Amare, Sophia, Jacob, Manolo, Balthazar, Atticus, and Aedan; his four caring siblings: Cristina, Virginia, Meneleo, and Leonor Fe.  

Visitation is on Thursday, October 3, 2024 and Friday, October 4, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City.  (For GPS navigation, it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street).  Additional parking for the funeral home is across the street between 3208 and 3216 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City. 

Funeral is on Saturday, October 5, 2024  10:30 AM at St. Aedan's Church, 800 Bergen Ave. Jersey City.  Entombment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, 823 West Side Ave. Jersey City.
