Edward Lee Fasani

Edward Lee Fasani, 65, of Jersey City; entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 12, 2023.  Edwards was passionate about his family, especially driving his grandchildren to school.  He was a very skilled chef, specializing in his chicken franchise sandwiches.  He loved watching the Mets, Jets, and Knicks; and coaching youth basketball and baseball.  Edward enjoyed playing with his bulldogs, Abby, Buster, Chubbs, and Fiona, and his cat, Rosie.  He enjoyed talking to his neighbors and anyone who would pass by.  He made friends with everyone.  Edward was very active in his community.  He would donate his food to St. Anne's Church, Jersey City and to Immaculate Conception Church, Secaucus.  Edward was the recipient of a kidney from his loving son, Joseph. 

Edward is the beloved husband of 47 years, Jill; treasured father of Joseph and his spouse, Michelle; adored grandfather of Belle and Patti; devoted son of the late, Leon and Anna; beloved brother of the late, Leon Glen and Raymond; an adored nephew of Gloria and Anthony Pino; brother-in-law of Frank and wife Annie, Tony and wife Dawn, Patrick and wife Kerry, and Sister-in-law Angel and Fiancé David; son-in-law of Patricia and her late husband, Frank.  He is also survived by Nicholas, Sabrina, Francis, Raymond Jr., Spencer, Emily, Francis Jr., and Kristina and by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members,

Visitation is Monday, October 16, 2023  from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City, NJ.  (For GPS Navigation, it is best to use 14 Stagg Street).  Cremation will be private.  In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made to the RWJ Barnabas Living Donor Kidney Program (https://www.rwjbh.org/).
