Edward George Stuart

Edward George Stuart, 64, of Secaucus; formerly of Jersey City; entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Edward enjoyed spending time with his family; a lover of animals; and going to the horse racetrack.  He was an avid Yankee fan.  His family will always remember him for his fun-loving, honest, and happy personality.  His family will miss him deeply.  Edward was the type of person who was very light-hearted; he never took anything serious in life.  He was very helpful to everyone, and always gave to people in need and never expected anything in return.  Everything he did, he did it from his heart. He was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church in Secaucus, where he married his wife, Debbie of 43 years.  He would say his prayers every night before going to bed.  

Edward is the beloved husband to Debbie; devoted father to George and his wife, Emilia, Veronica and her husband, Carlos, and Heather and her significant other, Lazaro "Romeo;" beloved grandfather to Zachary, Arabella, Jayden, Jordan, Xavier, Tyler, and Lily;  cherished son to the late, George and Barbara Jean Stuart; treasured brother to the late, Joseph. He is also survived by his fur-babies Snowball and Candy.   

Visitation is Tuesday, July 26, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd.  Everyone is invited to meet on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 10:45 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 1219 Paterson Plank Rd, Secaucus.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, N. Arlington.  In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made to the Humane Society of the United States (https://www.humanesociety.org/).
