Elaine Lluveras

Elaine Lluveras, 67, of Jersey City, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 7, 2022.  Born on June 13, 1955 to Marcos Lluveras and Rosa Amelia Rivera in New York City. The family moved to Jersey city when she was just a child.  She graduated from Ferris High School and attended Essex County College.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and listening to great music, especially El Gran Combo.  She was the life of the party even in her later years as she began studying with the Jehovah’s Witness and developed everlasting friendships in kingdom fellowship.

Elaine is the beloved daughter to the late, Marcos and Rosa Lluveras; predeceased by her Brother Elliott (Angela) Sisters Madeline (Hector) and Elizabeth Lluveras; Nephew Marcos Lluveras and Niece Marizel Lluveras. Cherished by siblings Eartha, Hector, and Edna; treasured aunt to Tiffany Cabrera, Jose Weeks, Christina, Elizabeth, Carmen, Kayla, Jamily, Yamilka, Junior, Luis, Hector, Luisito, Julio, Marielis, and Hecmari.  Elaine was a nanny and caregiver to many over the years who so lovingly called her Nana Elaine, Ma, Mama and Big Mama.

Our Hearts ache at her loss but we will take comfort knowing she is no longer in pain.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, August 14, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City, NJ. (For GPS Navigation it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street).  Cremation was private.
