Elsie Rivera

Elsie Rivera 85; of Jersey City, formerly of Isabela Puerto Rico  entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 1st. 

Elsie was born January 2, 1939 in Isabela, Puerto Rico, to the late Nicolas and Aurora Augusto. Arrived in Jersey City during her teenage years where she met her late loving husband Angel Manuel Rivera Sr. She is the beloved Mamí of Emmy Rivera-Hendricks (Carlos) , Angel “Junior” Manuel Rivera Jr. (Mirna) , and Anthony “Tony” L. Rivera ( Elsie) , dear sister to the late Pedro Augusto, Edna Figueroa and Hector Augusto. Proud and loving grandma to CJ, Anthony, Brittany, Nicole , Jonathan and AJ. Great Grandma and Nana to Sky, Jayden, Elena, JJ and Johan. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.

Visitation is Sunday, July 7, 2024 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City. (For GPS navigation, it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street).  Funeral mass is Monday at 10:00 AM at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church 254 2nd St, Jersey City, NJ 07302 Entombment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, 823 West Side Ave. Jersey City.
