Emma Louise Swift

Emma L. Swift 72,  of Jersey City, passed away peacefully on October 24,2021, surrounded by her family.

Emma was predeceased by her parents, Helen and Harold Petsch, her husbands Stanley J Swift Jr. and Douglas Ackerman, her son Stanley J Swift III, her granddaughter Emily Swift, daughter in law Christine Swift and her sister and brother.

She is survived by her 4 sons Douglas Ackerman(Tracey), David Ackerman(Rachael), Daniel Ackerman(Dana), Harold Swift, 2 daughters Laura Swift and Helen Smith(Billy) and her daughter in law Lynn Swift,  grandchildren Victoria Swift-Grapstul(Matthew), Douglas, Krystal, Amber, David, Michael, Vanessa Ackerman, Nicholas, Adam, Harold, Ayden, Nelly, Stanley Swift, Kaitlin Lyons, Justin, Jaden Reynolds and Billy, Wyatt Smith, and 4 great-granddaughters. She is also survived by 2 sisters, 2 brothers and many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by many. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City, NJ (For GPS, please use the parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street, Jersey City). Burial will be private.
