Eric S Baez

It is with deep sadness to announce the passing of Eric S. Baez, age 35, of Belleville; formerly of Jersey City; entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 27, 2024.  

Eric is the beloved son of Maria Aponte and Saul Baez; treasured brother of Jennifer Santana; adored nephew of Virginia, Ismael E, Ramona, Luis Rafael, Senen, Ismael Jr and Armando; awesome uncle of Jenisa, Justin and Jaeda ; adored father of AJ, Alicia, and Evan.  

Eric attended William L. Dickinson High School, went on to receive his Associate’s Degree in Video Simulations at Hudson County Community College and attended trade school at Lincoln Tech Institute for Mechanical Engineering. He was into martial arts and loved video gaming.

Eric touched the lives of many with his kindness, generosity, and sense of humor. 

A visitation service will be held in honor of Eric’s life on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Riotto Funeral & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City. (For GPS navigation, it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street). Interment will follow at Hoboken Cemetery, 5500 Tonnelle Ave. North Bergen, NJ . In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made in Eric’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org/).
