Felix Dimaya of Jersey City, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was 86 years old.

Born in Ilocos Norte, Philippines, on October 30, 1939, Felix went on to serve his adopted country with honor and pride, retiring as a Senior Chief of the United States Coast Guard. Following his decades of dedicated military service, he settled in Jersey City, where he built a life anchored by faith, family, and tradition.

Felix is reunited in eternal rest with his beloved wife, Cecilia, and his cherished son, Arthur.

He leaves behind his loving partner, Leonila Herrera. His memory will be forever honored by his loving son, Ariel, and his wife, Ivie; his devoted daughter, Armie, and her husband, Michael; and his cherished grandchildren, Aaron, Isabel, and Aedan, who brought him immeasurable pride and joy.

A visitation celebrating Felix’s life will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Aedan’s Church, 800 Bergen Avenue, Jersey City, NJ. Entombment will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Name Cemetery, 823 West Avenue, Jersey City, NJ 07306.
