Francesco "Frank" Miele, Jr.

Francesco “Frank,” also known to many as “Jr.” Miele, 91, of Bayonne; formerly of Jersey City; entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 24, 2022.  He enjoyed reminiscing about his life growing up in Jersey City to his friends.  In his earlier years, he began his own business, and was known for selling tripe.  He then worked for Hudson County as a garage supervisor for over 20 years before retiring.  Frank enjoyed spending time in Atlantic City at the pool and casino at the Borgata pool club.   His passion was going to the New York Giants’ football games; and for many years, he was a season ticket holder.    

Frank is the beloved lifelong partner of Barbara; devoted father of Carol Miele, Frances Manuel, and to the late Angela Miele; Grandfather to Samantha Manuel, and is also survived by his friends, Sandy and Gilbert.  He will be very missed by his family and friends, especially by those who visited him often and had a special place in his heart. 

Visitation is Wednesday June 29, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 6:00pm at Riotto Funeral Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City. (For GPS navigation, it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street).  Funeral is Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.  Funeral mass will follow at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 99 Broadway, Jersey City.  Interment is at Holy Name Cemetery, 823 West Side Ave.  In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made to the Boston Children’s Hospital (https://www.childrenshospital.org/) and to Shriners Hospital for Children (https://donate.lovetotherescue.org/).
