Francis D. O'Keefe

Francis D. O'Keefe, 56, of Hoboken, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, July 16, 2020.

Born and raised in Jersey City, Francis was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Patricia, brother Archie O'Keefe and brother-in-laws Freddy Jimenez and Bruce Brown.

Francis was survived by his loving wife Heidi (nee Grossi) and his children Francis, Ryan, Christopher and Gabriella O'Keefe, as well as his beloved dog Bella.

Francis was also survived by his sisters Patricia Brown and Susan Jimenez, as well as his nieces Jessica Brown Murphy (Rick), Leah Jimenez and nephew Stephen Jimenez (Christina) and great nieces and nephews Michael Dieguez, Gemma and Bennet Jimenez, his father-in-law Thomas Grossi and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Francis was an avid New York Yankees and New York Giants fan.  He lived his life to the fullest and deep down in his heart loved and cared for his wife, children, siblings, family and friends.

Services will take place on Sunday, July 19, 2020, 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at RIOTTO FUNERAL HOME & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ 07306.  Cremation will be private.

In keeping with Francis' loving spirit and zest for life, it was his family’s wish that Francis' final generous act was to give the gift of life to others through organ donations to the New Jersey Sharing Network.
