Fredeswinda Ramirez

Fredeswinda “Winda” Ramirez, 81, of Jersey City, formerly of Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico, entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 15, 2025. Born on March 12, 1944, in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico, Winda was the beloved daughter of the late Pedro Ramirez and Jova Garcia. She grew up in Puerto Rico and later made her home in New Jersey, where she built a life surrounded by family and friends.

Winda was a happy soul who brought warmth and joy wherever she went. She had a love for cooking, dancing, music, and arts and crafts. Her culinary skills were cherished by all who knew her, and she will be especially remembered for always making her family coffee and espresso with love. Humble and caring, she dedicated herself to her family, always putting their needs before her own.

She is survived by her loving son, Herminio Rodriguez, Jr. and his partner, Maria; her cherished grandchildren, Alex J. Rodriguez and his partner, Jennifer, Crystal Rodriguez, and Sebastian Rodriguez; her adored great-granddaughter, Mia Rodriguez; and her dear siblings, Wally Paliz and husband Bismarck, Elba Trani and husband Sal, and Feliberto Ramirez. She is reunited in eternal peace with her siblings Nancy, Nestor, Willy, Sergio, Ubaldo, Maribel, and Alexis. Winda will be deeply missed, but her kindness, love, and beautiful spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Visitation is Thursday, September 18, 2025, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at RIOTTO FUNERAL HOME & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07306 (For GPS Navigation, it is best to use the parking lot entrance address: 14 Stagg St., Jersey City). Cremation is private.
