George Campbell

George "Butch" Campbell, a lifelong resident of Jersey City passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2020. George worked for the Local 45 Iron Workers. He was a lover of sports. His favorite sports were boxing, football, soccer, and baseball. George will always be remembered as a loving husband, a caring father, a kindhearted grandfather, and for having a great sense of
humor.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; his children, Scott Campbell, Michele Pellagatti (Michael), George Jr. (Adriana), and Brian (Judy); his six grandchildren; his sister, Carol from Vermont; and by his dog: Chi Chi. George is predeceased in life by his parents, William “Star” Campbell and Ruth (nee Lampe), and by his siblings.

Due to CDC guidelines, cremation was private. An inurnment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, N. Arlington.
