Gerardo Castelli

Gerardo Castelli, 96, of Jersey City, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 12, 2019.  Gerardo was born in Ausonia, Frosinone, Italy and immigrated to Jersey City in 1973.  
Gerardo loved working in his garden and spending time with family especially his grandchildren.

Gerardo was the beloved husband of Annunziata Castelli; devoted father of Giuseppina & Constantino DiRaimo, Mario & Andriana Castelli, Rita & Francesco Santamaria, Enzo & Angela Castelli; Also survived by 12 loving grandchildren and 12 cherished great-grandchildren. 

Visitation is on Friday, June 14, 2019, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at RIOTTO FUNERAL HOME & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ 07306 (For GPS Navigation it is best to use our parking lot entrance address: 14 Stagg St.).  Funeral will begin on Saturday, June 15, 2019, 9:30 AM at the funeral home.  Funeral Mass will follow 10:30 AM at St. Nicholas Church, Jersey City.  Entombment will take place at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association (www.lung.org)
