Giovanni Ricciardone, 86, of Teggiano, Salerno, Italy passed away in Italy on November 27, 2019. He was a retired mechanical engineer.

Giovanni was the beloved husband of the late Lucia (nee Ferrari); devoted father of Gaetano Ricciardone & his wife Nunzia of South Africa; loving son of the late Gaetano Ricciardone & Maria Giuseppa (nee Abbatemarco); adoring grandfather of Marisa and Teresa; dear brother of Michael Ricciardone & his partner John of Jersey City and the late Anthony Ricciardone; cherished uncle of Gaetano & his wife Megan, Giuseppina Pagnotta & her husband Joseph, Giovanna Shannon & her husband Sean; also survived by many loving cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass arranged by Giovanni's brother, Michael on Sunday, December 29, 2019, 3:00 PM at Holy Rosary Church, 344 6th St., Jersey City, NJ 07302. Giovanni's funeral of Christian burial took place in Italy on December 1, 2019.
