Gladys E. Lange

Gladys E. Lange, 86 years old, born in Lares, Puerto Rico, long time resident of Jersey City,  New Jersey entered into eternal rest on January 22, 2023.

Gladys was an adored wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt, and friend to so many.  To have been in her presence was to experience quality family time. The kitchen was her favorite place to be! She enjoyed cooking and feeding family members as well as anyone who set foot in her home. She simply showed love through her cooking.

Gladys was a kindhearted and generous spirit. She was extremely giving in nature. If there was something you liked in her home she would tell you, "Take it, it's yours." She also enjoyed gardening and nurturing her plants and flowers. She loved to see things in full bloom.

Gladys was very protective of her loved ones yet had a gentle ear to always listen and give the best advice. Her purpose in life and eternal love was for her daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Gladys also loved her husband/partner playfully and unconditionally. 

Gladys is survived by her loving husband; Alcides, her cherished children; Rosa, Olga, and Blanca, her adored grandchildren; Shanica, Tony, Jenique and Vincent, her treasured great grandchildren; Asiah, Derek, Sylus, Analia and Amelia, her sons-in-law; Vincent Sr. and Peter, her brother; Victor, as well as countless nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.  She will not be forgotten for she will be forever in our hearts. ♥️

Visitation on Sunday January 29, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City, NJ. (For GPS navigation it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street).  Funeral mass is Monday, January 30, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 254 2nd Street, Jersey City, NJ.  Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, 823 West Side Ave., Jersey City.
