Gloria Esther Quinones

Gloria Esther Quinones, 73, of Jersey City, formerly of Ceiba, Puerto Rico; entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 29, 2021.  Gloria was a very simple woman, who always had a positive outlook on life.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to the store, and walking around the neighborhood, who would refer to her as “the mayor of Hopkins Ave.” She would be the kind of person who would be sitting on her stoop and say “hi” to everyone who would pass by.  She took pleasure in talking about her memories on 8th street and going to the park.  Her family would remember her as a lovable, funny, and friendly person who always had a smile on her face, and enjoyed making people laugh.

Gloria is survived by her caring children, Frankie Quinones and his wife, Estefania; George Romero; Michele Quinones; Cecilia Martinez; and Matthew Martinez; her sister, Lucy Falcone; and by many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members and friends.     

Visitation is Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City, NJ.  (For GPS Navigation, it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street).  Private cremation will follow.
