With hearts full of love and sorrow, the family of Gregorio Torres, 86, announces his peaceful passing on November 1, 2025, surrounded by those who loved him most. Born in Cayey, Puerto Rico, Gregorio lived a long and fulfilling life built upon faith, family, and kindness.
He was the devoted husband of the late Gloria Torres, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Together, they created a home filled with warmth, music, and the strong bonds of family that endure to this day.
A proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Gregorio found his greatest joy in the company of his loved ones. His gentle wisdom, quick humor, and loving heart shaped generations. Whether sharing stories from his youth in Puerto Rico, offering advice at the kitchen table, or cheering on his beloved New York Mets, Gregorio had a special way of bringing people together and making everyone feel valued and loved.
He also cherished life’s quiet moments—especially enjoying a cup of coffee outside in the morning breeze, taking in the simple beauty of the day.
His legacy will live on through the love he gave, the lessons he taught, and the family he nurtured. Though he is gone from our sight, his spirit will forever remain in our hearts. The family takes comfort knowing Gregorio is now reunited with his beloved Gloria in eternal peace.
