Iraj "Rog" Hejazi Obituary

Iraj 'Rog' Hejazi peacefully passed away at Jersey City Medical Center on December 31, 2020 at the age of 63. A beloved son, brother and uncle, he is survived by his sisters Ashraf, Fery and brother Majid. He will be dearly missed by Rush, Haleh and Sam and all other nieces and nephews of whom he immensely loved.

Rog was well known in Jersey City and Hudson county for his unbounded generosity and community service. As a long time owner of Chicken Delight, he created a community staple where everyone came to know and love him. Throughout, he loved his friends and former employees that became like a second family to him. He was active in the Church and a long time member of the local parish.

In celebration of his life, and in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
