Irma Luisa Rivera Perez

As of September 8th, 2023 with the grace of God and surrounded by her family, Irma Luisa Rivera Perez of Jersey City, NJ,  is resting in the arms of Jesus. She will be remembered for her compassionate concern for the well-being of others and her kindheartedness, contagious laugh, and beautiful smile.   

Survived by mother Irma, dad Miguel, brother Miguel, sister Emily, sister Brisa, brother-in-law Ronald, godchildren, many friends; especially Sara, and countless cousins; especially Rene. 

She graduated from St Peter Elementary School, Jersey City, NJ, James J. Ferris High School, and Trenton State College with an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice.  
 

Her career as a Special Education aide at Bayonne High School gave her great pride and purpose and her students loved her. She had a talent for creating party themes for event party Planners. All will deeply miss her. 

 
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City, N,  07306. (For GPS navigation, it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street). Friends and family are invited to attend Irma's funeral mass on Saturday, September 16, 2023, 10:00 a.m. at St. Aloysius Church, 691 West Side Ave., Jersey City, NJ, 07304. Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City, NJ, 07306.
