Israel "Chi Chi" Pratts, 52, of Jersey City, passed away on July 6, 2026. Born on July 12, 1973, Chi Chi was a cool, calm, sharp, and handsome man who brought immense joy to those around him.
Whether he was tracking the stock market, focusing on finance, or diving into a good book, Chi Chi always kept his mind sharp. He loved sports, passionately cheering on his beloved New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Steelers, and found simple joy in relaxing at home, catching up on funny videos and street fights on his laptop. Above all, Chi Chi found his true happiness in the simple things—most notably, seeing his family happy.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Sdarling; his son, Dylan; his mother, Haidee; and his sister, Norma, alongside many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
The Pratts family extends their deepest thanks to loved ones for their support, and a special note of gratitude to Dr. Lefkowitz for her years of compassionate nephrology care.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Thursday, July 9, 2026, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ, 07306 (For GPS it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg St., additional parking lot located on Kennedy Blvd.). A religious service will begin at 12:30 p.m., followed by his interment at Holy Name Cemetery, 823 West Side Ave, Jersey City, NJ 07306.
