Jacqueline Fleming

Jacqueline Fleming, a.k.a. Jackie, 84, of Jersey City, NJ passed away on February 4, 2019.  Jackie was born in Hartford, CT on January 2, 1935.  She was the beloved twin sister of Claire Fleming, who had passed away back in March of 2016.  During her youth, Jackie lived in different parts of the country, such as New York, Texas, and Florida.  She had worked as a sales clerk before retiring.  She enjoyed frequent visits to New York City, as well as playing the slots at Atlantic City.  Although she never married, Danny, who is now deceased, was the love of her life.  In her later years, Jackie was the sole caretaker of her sister, Claire.  Being twins, they both had an inseparable bond.  Jackie had a feisty personality equivalent by her energy and enthusiasm.  A true force to be reckoned with. 

Jackie was the cherished aunt to John Connolly, and Great Aunt to both Caroline and Jack Connolly.  From the words of her nephew, John, "she will be missed by her family and dear friends, but not forgotten. May she rest in peace."

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 10:30 AM to 12:10 PM at the Funeral Home (for GPS it is best to use parking lot entrance address 14 Stagg St., Jersey City). A prayer service will be offered at 11:45 AM.  Interment to follow at Arlington Cemetery, Kearny, NJ.
