James A. Galdieri, Esq.

James A. Galdieri, Esq., 74, of Verona, formerly of Jersey City, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2009.

James was an Attorney for 42 years with Miller & Galdieri Law Offices, Jersey City. James was also a former New Jersey State Senator.

James served as commissioner of Hackensack Meadowlands Development Commission. James was past president of the Dante Alighieri Society, Jersey City. He was also a honoree of Unico and a member of Rotary both of Jersey City.

James was a graduate of Seton Hall University and New York Law School.

Beloved husband of Marie (nee Mayo), devoted father of James R., Virginia, Michael and Richard Galdieri, loving grandfather of Steel James, Skyler Bleu and Mariella Hope.

Funeral from RIOTTO FUNERAL HOME, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 9:30 AM. Funeral mass St. Aloysius Church 10:45 AM. Internment Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City. Visiting Monday 6-9 PM and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
