James Richard Montesano

James Richard Montesano (Jim) entered his Lord’s presence on Monday, August 31, 2020 after a valiant battle with cancer.

Jim was born to Shirley and Joseph Montesano on April 29, 1958 in Jersey City, New Jersey. He is survived by his wife and two sons. He experienced immense love, joy and laughter with his family and considered himself a man most blessed in this regard.

He felt called into the ministry 20 years ago and became a Pastor of Bread of Life Church, where he has faithfully served as their beloved worship leader for over 20 years. He loved his church family dearly and compassionately. He always felt it a privilege and a joy to guide the flock with his music.

For those who knew him, music was his passion, with countless stories of good times shared with family and friends. His passion of music helped reach those who did not know his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

A graveside service to send off brother Jim to Heaven, will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020, 11:00 AM at The Ernst Memorial Cemetery, 328 Ernston Road, Parlin, New Jersey.
