Janine Landais

Janine Landais, passed away on April 26, 2023 in Jersey City.  She was 77 years old.  Her family is deeply saddened by her death.  She was born on September 22, 1945. 

Janine is survived by her husband, Yves Landais; her daughter, Regine Gordon, and her son, Rodney Landais.  Forever remembered by her siblings, Jocelyn and Alordes and countless nieces and nephews.  She is loved and remembered by everyone. 

Janine was born in Akaye, Haiti.  She grew up in the rural country side where the sites were beautiful.  Often telling of her memories with her siblings. She had a love for taking care of people, which lead her to Nursing.  She moved to the United States and overall accomplished 40 years of Nursing and achieving a Master's Degree near the end. 

She was a beautiful person inside and out.  Her smile and soul was extremely bright bringing encouragement to all those she helped.  Ask anyone who met her and they would praise her and her giving spirit.  She will forever by missed.  Until we meet again. 

Visitation is on Saturday, May 6, 2023 from at 9:00 AM too 10:00 AM at Vroom Street Evangel Free Church, 155 Vroom Street, Jersey City, NJ 07306.  Mass services will begin after visitation.   Entombment will follow mass services at Holy Name Mausoleum, 823 West Side Ave. Jersey City, NJ.
