Jason Colon Obituary

Jason John Colon, 45, of Clifton, NJ (formerly of Hoboken, then of Jersey City) entered into the Gates of Heaven on Friday, December 22, 2023 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.  Jason worked for the USPS for 25 years, starting in Allendale and moved on to the New Jersey International & Bulk Mail Center in Jersey City.  Jason was an avid fan of the Yankees, Nets, and the Giants. Jason grew up playing baseball and later coached his children when they played baseball.

Jason is the beloved father of Larissa Mariella and Jayton John Colon; cherished son of Janice (nee Krecz) & Martin Colon, Sr.; brother of Martin Colon, Jr.; loving grandson of Richard Spizzirro; dear friend of Jill Hollowell; former husband of Lisa Morales.  Jason leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends and co-workers. 

Visitation is Friday, January 5, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City, NJ.  (For GPS navigation, it is best to use our parking lot: 14 Stagg Street). Funeral mass is Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Anne's Church, 3545 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, N. Arlington.
