Jeannett Cecilia Calle Barraza, de 49 años, nacida en Perú y residente de Jersey City, Nueva Jersey, falleció en paz el 12 de marzo de 2026.

Jeannett fue una mujer de una fortaleza, calidez y luz increíbles. Tenía un espíritu alegre que iluminaba cualquier lugar, siempre con una sonrisa en el rostro incluso en medio de sus luchas médicas. Nunca quiso que nadie sintiera lástima por ella; al contrario, eligió vivir con alegría, risas y resiliencia, inspirando a todos a su alrededor con su valentía y actitud positiva.

Era conocida por su personalidad divertida y por la felicidad que transmitía a los demás. A Jeannett le encantaba cantar con todo el corazón en el karaoke, jugar bingo y dedicar tiempo a la meditación. Ella creía que su camino en la vida era de crecimiento espiritual y personal, una convicción que vivió día a día. Su profundo amor por los animales la llevó a convertirse en vegetariana, reflejando su gran compasión y noble corazón. Amaba la música, el baile y disfrutar de los pequeños momentos de la vida. Ya sea compartiendo sus comidas favoritas peruanas, chinas o italianas, viendo películas cómicas o románticas, o simplemente estando rodeada de sus seres queridos, Jeannett hacía que cada momento fuera especial.

Jeannett se reencuentra en el cielo con su amado padre, Gustavo Calle Godoy, quien falleció hace un año, y con su madre, Cecilia Barraza Dorador, quien partió cuando ella era muy joven. Aunque el tiempo separados en la tierra fue largo, encontramos paz al saber que ahora están nuevamente juntos.

Deja a sus queridos hermanos: Aaron, David, Gabriel y Daniela, junto con su madrastra, Ruth Godoy, quienes continuarán llevando su recuerdo, su fortaleza y su amor en sus corazones para siempre. Fue más que una hermana; fue una fuente de alegría, consuelo e inspiración.

Jeannett será recordada por su hermosa sonrisa, su risa, su canto y su baile, y por la luz que brindó a la vida de todos los que la conocieron. Su espíritu vivirá en cada canción, en cada comida compartida y en cada momento de alegría que nos enseñó a valorar.

Nos consuela saber que ahora descansa en paz, libre de dolor, en la presencia de Dios. Aunque ya no esté físicamente con nosotros, su amor y su esencia permanecerán con nosotros para siempre.

Un servicio conmemorativo para honrar y celebrar la vida de Jeannett se llevará a cabo el 28 de marzo de 2026, de 10:00 a.m. a 1:00 p.m.

Jeannett was a woman of incredible strength, warmth, and light. She carried herself with a lively spirit that could brighten any room, always wearing a smile even through her own medical struggles. She never wanted anyone to feel sorry for her—instead, she chose joy, laughter, and resilience, inspiring everyone around her with her courage and positivity.

She was known for her fun-loving personality and the happiness she brought to others. Jeannett loved singing her heart out at karaoke, playing bingo, and spending time in meditation. She believed that her life journey was one of spiritual and personal growth, a belief she truly lived by each day. Her deep love for animals led her to become a vegetarian, reflecting her compassion and gentle heart. She had a deep love for music, dancing, and enjoying life’s simple pleasures. Whether it was sharing a meal of her favorite Peruvian, Chinese, or Italian dishes, watching comedic or romantic movies, or simply being surrounded by loved ones, Jeannett made every moment special.

Jeannett is reunited in heaven with her beloved father, Gustavo Calle Godoy, who passed away a year ago, and her mother, Cecilia Barraza Dorador, who passed when she was young. Though their time apart on earth was long, we find peace in knowing they are together again.

She leaves behind her loving siblings: Aaron, David, Gabriel, and Daniela, along with her stepmother, Ruth, who will continue to carry her memory, her strength, and her love in their hearts forever. She was more than a sister—she was a source of joy, comfort, and inspiration.

Jeannett will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her laughter, her singing and dancing, and the light she brought into the lives of everyone who knew her. Her spirit will live on in every song sung, every shared meal, and every moment of joy she taught us to embrace.

We take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace, free from pain, and resting in the presence of God. Though she is no longer with us physically, her love and spirit remain with us always.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Jeannett’s life will be held on March 28, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
