With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Jeffrey “Jeff” Geiger on June 1, 2025. Jeff was just 37 years old, and his loss is deeply felt by all who knew and loved him.
Born on November 23, 1987, in Rahway, New Jersey, Jeff spent most of his life in Hillsborough, NJ, before recently relocating to Jacksonville, Florida. He brought light and laughter wherever he went and was known for his kind heart, sharp wit, and unwavering generosity.
Jeff was the cherished son of Robert and Linda Geiger, and the loving brother of Jennifer Gill and her husband James. He was a proud uncle to Mason and Sabrina Gill, and the adored nephew of his supportive Aunt Theresa Geiger and his caring Uncle and Aunt, Michael and Ana Flysta. Jeff also leaves behind many loyal friends who will miss him dearly and remember him fondly.
Jeff had a true gift for making others feel seen and cared for. He gave freely to anyone in need and continued that legacy of giving even in death, restoring sight to others through the selfless donation of his corneas.
A passionate soccer fan and avid fisherman, Jeff found peace in nature and joy in the beauty of the outdoors. He also had a strong work ethic and took pride in his craft as a landscape supervisor at Brightview Landscape Services in Jacksonville, where he earned the respect of his team and clients alike. Jeff previously attended Raritan Valley Community College, where he completed two years of study.
