Jennifer Marie Colon Boxley
December 20, 1983 – February 13, 2025
Jennifer Marie Colon Boxley, lovingly known for her vibrant spirit and colorful personality, passed away on February 13, 2025, in Rochester, NY, at the age of 41.
Born on December 20, 1983, in Hoboken, NJ, Jennifer grew up in Jersey City, where she cultivated a love for creativity, self-expression, and bringing joy to those around her. She had a passion for arts and crafts, from basket weaving and knitting to making beautifully detailed party favors. She also pursued cosmetology, a field that allowed her to showcase her artistic talent and love for beauty.
Jennifer attended college for two years and had the incredible opportunity to travel to Japan, a cherished memory she held close to her heart. Her bubbly, outgoing nature made her a light in the lives of everyone she met. She was not only creative but also deeply loving and devoted to her family.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Kailee Fuquan Boxley; her children, Alyssa and Jose; her parents, Jose and Mariana Colon; her siblings, Rios and Janet; and her grandmother-in-law, Henrietta Anderson. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Riotto Funeral & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City. (For GPS navigation it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street). Interment will follow at Bayview Cemetery, 321 Garfield Ave. Jersey City, NJ. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Highland Hospital for their care and support.
Jennifer’s memory will live on in the beauty she created, the love she shared, and the warmth of her infectious smile. As her loving husband says goodbye, he holds onto her words: "I'll miss you, Honey Bun."
