Jenny Flores, age 78, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 12, 2026. Jenny lived a life filled with love, kindness, faith, and unwavering devotion to her family. She will be remembered for her generous heart, warm smile, and special ability to make everyone feel welcome. Her greatest joy was spending time with those she loved and creating cherished memories that will remain in their hearts forever. Jenny enjoyed traveling to Atlantic City and trying her luck at the slot machines. She was a loyal fan of the New York Yankees and New York Giants. She loved watching Latin soap operas, and enjoyed listening to Marc Anthony, La India, and Bad Bunny, especially during his performance at the Super Bowl. Always beautifully dressed, Jenny was a true fashionista who took pride in looking her best.
She especially loved hosting holidays and cooking for her family. Her arroz con gandules and empanadas were family favorites that brought everyone together around the table. Jenny was known for being sassy and salty, always speaking her mind and telling things exactly as she saw them. Beneath her spirited personality was a thoughtful and caring woman who was deeply concerned about the health and well-being of those she loved.
She was a devoted parishioner of St. Aloysius Church, where she received all of her sacraments. Her faith remained a source of strength throughout her life. "Jenny never gave up hope. Her strength came from her deep love for and belief in God, and she fought courageously until the very end. God bless your mother. May she rest in eternal peace, and may perpetual light shine upon her beautiful soul forever." ~Fran and Michael
Jenny is survived by her beloved husband, Vidal Flores; her devoted children, Anthony and his wife, Michele, and Maritza; her caring grandson, Anthony Rob Flores; her treasured sister, Nilsa Pietri; her loving nephew, David Guzman; and by many other loving family members and friends. Though she is no longer with us, Jenny’s love, compassion, faith, and beautiful spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
