John Charles Moore, age 70, passed away on the 1st of September after a long battle of various medical complications. John was born 1951 on 22nd of December in West New York, NJ.
After a rough childhood, things one day took a turn when John met Patricia. While both were working in a local store in Jersey City, they frequently had lunch together. Eventually they fell in love and settled on Third Street, where John ultimately remained for the better portion of his life. They were married in 1973 in Holy Rosary Church. William, their only child, was born in August of 1974.
John had a passion for technology. At the start of the computer boom, John dove into a hobby of computer programming and police scanners. The family of three frequently spent time on a campground in Pennsylvania during the summer. In 1997, John was in a car accident, hit by a drunk driver. While John recovered from complications of the accident, Patricia passed away in 2007 of Cancer. Resilient John visited her gravesite every day for five years until complications from surgeries caused John to be homebound and he was no longer able to visit. However, his love for her never died, honoring her with stories any chance he got and remaining an ever-devoted husband.
John is survived by William Moore & his wife, Daniela and granddaughter, Isabella.
For fifteen years John’s only wish was to be with Patty once again. Now, they meet again . . .
