John Muia, born on July 28, 1975, in Jersey City, New Jersey, passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 50. He had a passion for cooking and brought joy to everyone around him. John's culinary skills were matched only by his love for family, which constituted the very core of his life. He had an extraordinary ability to make those around him laugh with his heartwarming stories.
John is survived by his beloved siblings: Rosemary & Jerry De Toro, Paul & Lucia Muia, Angela Muia, Scot Murphy, Carlo Muia &, Richard Schmidt , Anthony & Lauren Muia, Nancy & John Gibbons, Frank Muia, and Michael & Kim Muia.
Beloved Nieces and Nephews Riana & Angelo, Nicole, Paulie & Brianna, Jerry, Ava, Francesca, Alexa, John, Juliana, Anthony, Victoria and Luke.
Cherished great nieces Holly , Angelina and Great nephew Frankie .
Each of them will remember him not only for his exceptional cooking but also for his generous spirit and heart of gold.

Memorial service is on Monday, October 6, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ 07306.
