John Victor Seborowski, Sr., 71, of Jersey City, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 28, 2020 due to natural causes.
John was a proud, lifelong, dedicated Jersey City resident. He worked at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter for over 40 years before his retirement in 2008. After his retirement, John dedicated himself full time to the people of Jersey City. He held various positions including: Committee Man of D-22, active member of the Jersey City Planning Board, and State Planning Board Delegate. John was a member of the St. Anne’s Holy Name Society and a Eucharistic Minister. He volunteered his time at St. John’s Lutheran Food Pantry. He is best known for being the 12-time Jersey City Christmas Home Decorating Contest winner. John will be remembered for his dedication to his community and also to his beloved family. He will be greatly missed.
John is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Mary Louise Seborowski, his loving children, John Seborowski, Jr. and his wife Kate, Beth Ann Ramos and her husband Alexander, Lynne Seborowski and her husband Patrick DeCarlo, Claire Seborowski, and Louise Flenoy and her husband Matthew. Also surviving are his dear brother Edward Seborowski, Jr. and his wife Carol, and his cherished grandchildren Gianna, Evan, Jonathan, Kylie, and Christian. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic and CDC guidelines, visitation in the funeral home and interment at Madonna Cemetery in Fort Lee is private.
