In Loving Memory of Jonathan Fossetta
Jonathan Fossetta, age 42, of Jersey City, New Jersey, passed away on September 20, 2026.
Jonathan was a loving father, devoted fiancé, cherished son, brother, uncle, cousin , nephew and friend. Above all else, he was an amazing father to his daughters, Janelle and Jaelyn Fossetta, who were the center of his world. He loved spending time with his girls and would drop everything he was doing to be there for them. His love for his daughters was unconditional, and the memories they shared will remain in their hearts forever.
Jonathan was known for having an incredibly big heart. He was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He cared deeply about the people in his life and was always willing to help, support, or simply be there when someone needed him. His generosity, kindness, and willingness to put others before himself touched the lives of many.
Jonathan is survived by his beloved daughters, Janelle and Jaelyn Fossetta, and his fiancé, Lydia Molina.
He is also survived by his mother, Carol McCabe, and his father, Benjamin James Fossetta; his sister, Nadine Hansen, and her husband, John Hansen; his brothers, Michael Fossetta and Benjamin James Fossetta Jr., and his wife, Windsor Fossetta; and his twin brother, Jeffrey Fossetta, and his wife, Jennifer Fossetta.
Jonathan was a loving uncle to Mikey Cervino, Ryan Hansen, Sean Hansen, Stella James Fossetta, Benjamin James Fossetta III, and Aubreigh Grace Fossetta. He cherished his nieces and nephews and the special place each of them held in his heart.
Jonathan leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and countless memories that will never be forgotten. His laughter, kindness, generosity, and enormous heart will live on through his daughters, his family, and everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
Though his time with us was far too short, Jonathan made an impact that will last a lifetime. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
"A great man is not measured by what he has, but by what he gives to others."
