Jose A. Rivera

Jose A Rivera, 58, of Jersey City, NJ peacefully passed away surrounded by his family and friends on September 22, 2023.

Born on February 21, 1965 in Jersey City, Jose was the son of Antonia Rivera and of the late great Angel Rivera. 

He was the youngest son of four siblings.  He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Rivera, his three children, Eva, Vanessa and Alisha, and 8 grandchildren.

A beloved husband, and dedicated father Jose devoted his life to provide and protect his family. His resilience and free spirit will be remembered, and never forgotten.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at RIOTTO FUNERAL HOME & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City, NJ 07306 (For GPS it is best to use our parking lot entrance address: 14 Stagg Street, Jersey City, NJ 07306). Funeral services are Thursday, 11:00 AM at the funeral home, followed by a 12:00 PM burial at Hoboken Cemetery, North Bergen.
