Joseph Gallipoli

Joseph Gallipoli, 89, of Jersey City, entered into eternal rest on May 23, 2024.   Joseph was the owner and operated Donna’s Pizzeria & Restaurant on Palisades Ave., Jersey City for over forty years.  He enjoyed playing soccer, and then coached the youth.  He also enjoyed going to the racetrack and betting on the horses, traveling to Atlantic City, visiting his home town in Italy, and spending time with his family, especially partying and dancing with them.   

Joseph is the beloved husband of Anna Marie; adored father of Joseph and his wife, Lorraine; treasured grandpa of Joseph and Brandon; caring brother of Lena, Anna, and Danny, and the late Padre Prosperino; and also the beloved son of the late Prospero and Maria.  He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.   

Visitation is Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City.  Funeral is Wednesday, May 29, 2024 11:00 AM at St. Anne's Church, 3545 Kennedy Blvd. Jersey City.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 340 Ridge Road, N. Arlington.
