Joseph Edward Montefusco

Joseph Edward Montefusco, 68, of Belleville; formerly of Jersey City; entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 10, 2021 surrounded by his caring children.  Joe was a retired mechanical engineer, but his proudest achievement was honorably serving in the US Navy during Vietnam. “Veteran” is a title he wore proudly. 

Joe is the beloved son of the late Robert and Estelle Montefusco; the caring and deeply loved father and father-in-law of Angela Mercado and her husband, Ruben Jr.; Amanda Ramchandani and her husband, Dinesh; and Joey Montefusco; the most loving, proud grandfather of Elijah, Noah, Nevaeh, Bella, Rubiana, Collin and Kiran.  Joe is also survived by his adoring older brother, Donald Montefusco, beloved nieces and nephews and countless extended family and friends who he left a lasting impression on. He loved all and will be missed by many. 

Visitation is Friday, May, 14, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation Company, 3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd., Jersey City (For GPS Navigation, it is best to use our parking lot address: 14 Stagg Street). Funeral Mass is Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann's Polish Roman Catholic Church, Jersey City.  Private Cremation will follow.
